National Teenagers’ Workers Convention (NTWC) 2024

The National Teenagers’ Workers Convention is a biennial meeting organized by Teenagers Outreach Ministry (TOM) to minister to the needs of teens handlers in an ever changing society. With the rising rate of criminality, sexual perversion, cyber crimes, drug abuse, and disregard for spiritual growth and upliftment, it is needful that the teens’ worker is equipped to handle these situations while ministering to the teenagers. You are invited to this capacity building event, as God would be using seasoned professionals, ministers and coaches to empower us.

When in 1992 God asked us to start reaching and discipling teenagers on the TOM platform, the burden was heavy and the vision clear. We not only targeted teenagers directly, we set out to work through churches to reach teens in the churches and particularly in the homes.

Thirty-One (31) years down the road, we thank God for a number of success stories. Testimonies of changed lives and even transformed families abound.

In my opinion though, the impact would have been much more, if the average Christian home was better equipped to raise godly children/teenagers. Deut 6:6-9 makes it clear that the home is the primary place of influence in a child’s life. You will agree that most Christian homes today are far from the kind of home that will maximally impact a child for Christ.

The body of Christ in Nigeria has over the years, created very little time and resources towards equipping parents who are supposed to raise godly children/teenagers. It will amaze you how ignorant the average Christian parent today is with regards to basic principles in godly parenting.

I keep imagining the great result that will be achieved if we devout enough time and resources to equip parents to be focused and intentional parents.

As we gather in 2024, may the Lord challenge us anew – amen!!! Our families and in fact every other part of the church will work in synergy like Elkanah and Hannah, to raise the Samuels of this generation – Amen!!!

So plan, anticipate and get ready for MANIFESTATIONS!!!
